Online Therapy

COVID 19 Update: This time of social distancing does not have to mean social isolation. We have compiled a list of online therapy resources from our national and local partners for easy access in one, easy to find place. These programs can help keep you active, loud, and engaged from right inside your home.

LOUD Crowd

LOUD Crowd is a weekly community voicing and cognition class open to anyone who has completed LSVT LOUD or Speak Out!  

Date: Thursdays | 3:30- 4:15 pm
*Must have completed LSVT LOUD or Speak Out!

Voicing Class

Date: Wednesday
Time: 10:30-11:30 am

This class is designed to work on your voice!  The muscles that control your voice are affected by Parkinson’s just like all of you other muscles so we have to exercise them.

Parkinson Voice Project Daily Voice Exercises

The Parkinson Voice Project is offering free speech exercise on Facebook Live to help keep your voice strong! Dr. Samantha Elandary, MA, CCC- SLP will leading classes for the duration of the pandemic.

LSVT Global is providing free online LOUD and BIG resources in response to Covid-19. They will be adding more classes as needed and potentially extend the schedule in to May.

LSVT LOUD

LSVT LOUD Introduction and Interactive Voice Exercise Demo

This is a fun and informative 30-minute session to learn about how LSVT LOUD is a highly effective treatment for improving communication in people with Parkinson’s disease. There will be a 15-minute overview and 15 minutes of interactive vocal exercises.

This is an internet-based group exercise class for those who have already completed LSVT LOUD. It is led by a speech-language pathologist who are LSVT LOUD certified.
