Go virtual in May!

Due to concerns over the spread of COVID-19, many community events in April and May have been cancelled.

However, organizations are working overtime to make sure you still have access to the education, movement, and fun of in-person events. The Davis Phinney Foundation and Parkinson’s Foundation have adjusted their upcoming events to a virtual platform.

Join in on the fun from the comfort of your own home!

2020 Care Partner Summit

The 2020 Parkinson’s Foundation Care Partner Summit | Cumbre Para Cuidadores was designed with care partners in mind, and is recommended for anyone caring for someone living with PD, including spouses, partners, children or friends. This event will focus on cognitive changes, mental health, self-care, and practical planning for caregivers.

2020 Omaha Gives!

This year we are raising funds to purchase teleconferencing equipment for the Parkinson’s Nebraska office. This equipment will allow us to provide virtual support groups and exercise classes, and increase the number of Nebraskans we serve.

Even after the community heals from COVID-19, the need for online programming will remain. Virtual programs help reach those with transportation barriers and who live in rural communities. With your help, we will be able to grow our online programs and continue meeting the needs of people all across Nebraska!

Time: 24 hours of giving from 12:00 am- 11:59 pm
