Living Facilities

With so many choices, it can be difficult to navigate the best living facility and level of care you need. Let us help you make sense of your choices.

Independent Living: Independent living is ideal for those who can live independently, but enjoy having access to medical care, dining, entertainment, housekeeping, cleaning and more. It offers a safe living community with minimal assistance.

Assisted Living: Assisted living is a great option for those who have difficulty performing daily activities at home. Residents live independently but receive regular support for activities of daily living. Assisted living communities provide cleaning, meal prep, laundry, utilities, transportation, social engagement, medication management, and more.

Skilled Nursing: Skilled nursing facilities are healthcare institution providing 24-hour nursing care. Many skilled nursing facilities also offer acute and long-term physical, occupational, and speech therapy rehab services. Some even provide specialized care for patients with Parkinson’s.

* Patients must have a 3-day hospital stay to be admitted to skilled nursing and rehabilitation centers through Medicare.

You, your doctor, and the facility can work together to find the living option that works best for you.
